Bagyong/Storm Karen

Thursday, August 21, 2008

Regarding to Bagyong/Storm Karen, I do have 2 experiences. One is a positive/good experience, and other the one is negative/bad experience.

This is the story.

Yesterday morning, I thought, that morning is still early morning, when I look the time in my cellphone, it’s already about 8-9 am, and still raining. At the time before I took a bath, I texted twice/2 times the person who conducted a lecture last Tuesday, she didn’t reply. During the time I taking a bath, my parents decided to come with me, due to that during that time is still raining.

When we arrived in the area wherein, in that area, a road existing from UP Diliman campus going to Katipunan Avenue, we had a traffic experience. At this moment, I texted for the third time, the person who conducted a lecture last Tuesday, after a few minute(s)/moment(s), that person texted/replied to me, that there will an exam this Friday, that’s tomorrow, same time.

After that, we decided to go the place, I asked my parents if we were going to Megamall, I/We will buy an umbrella, the one easy to fold and usually used by women, instead, we went to SM North Edsa, to buy an umbrella, the one easy to fold and usually used by women, before that, my parents updated their passbook/bankbook, regarding their businesses, and went home.

Artistahin ka ba?/Are you have the x-factor to be a celebrity?

Wednesday, August 13, 2008

(This post is based on my dream.)

I had this dream before I woke up. In this dream I dreamt about my female cousin together with John Lloyd Cruz.
In this dream, my female cousin was in Greenwich SM North Edsa, and she saw John Lloyd Cruz, with the four folks in the Greenwich commercial. I forgot what she said.

While in Powerbooks TriNoma, my female cousin was falling in line, she told to John LLoyd Cruz and the four folks in the Greenwich commercial, “Ano ba yan? Huwag kayo magsiksikan.”.

Lines from the book, The Third Secret, by Steve Berry.

Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Arguing with the Holy Father  is a fruitless endeavor.

There is no one so far removed from as a heretic.

The less open a heretic is, the more dangerous he would become.

Because loves knows no bounds, Eminence.

I advocate only that each individual must follow his heart.

The nature of our faith is that nothing can be added or taken away.

Our principles, as expounded by that Holy Father, are not impious and cannot be diluted.

Line from the novel, The Golden Compass, by Philip Pullman.

What he choose, he will do harm, but maybe if he does, the right thing will come about if he chooses wrong.

God preserve me having to make at sort of choice.

perhaps, we don’t mean the same thing by choice.

Death will sweep through all the world, it will be the triumph of despair, forever. The universe will all become nothing more than inter-looking machines, blind and empty, of thought, and feeling and like.

God help us of the come here.

Line from the novel, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, by J. K. Rowling.

Age is foolish and forgetful when underestimates youth.

There is nothing to be feared from a body, Harry, anymore than there is anything to be feared from darkness.

Dumbledore would have been more happier than anybody to think there was a little more love in this world.

Line from the novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J. K. Rowling.

We’re all humans aren’t we? Every human life is the same, and worth saving.

Because sometimes you’ve got to think about more than your own safety. Sometimes  you’ve got to think about the greater good.

It is curious thing, Harry, But perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it.

Those who, like you, have leadership, thrust upon them, and take up the mantle because they must and find to their own surprise that they wear it.

Lines form the book, The Pilgrimage, by Paulo Coelho.

It took me six/6 days to read The Pilgrimage, by Paulo Coelho. Yes indeed. I read the straight six/6 days. From Wednesday, to Monday, that’s from March 5, 2008, up to March 10, 2008. I bought the book from Fully Booked in Gateway Mall, in Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.

Actually, It was the book, Do Elephants Jump? by David Feldman I want to buy in the said bookstore, but unfortunately, the salesclerk I asked the said book was sold out, because, I am planning to apply in Fully Booked, in Powerbooks, or in A Different Bookstore. To be honest, I don’t know what is the name, of the position of the people, we see in FB, in PB, or in ADS, or even in National Bookstore.

The book, The Pilgrimage, and another/other Paulo Coelho book, The Alchemist, I like more the latter, than the former, don’t ask me, because, I don’t know.

Here are the lines from the book:

To dream to dream, or not dream

May panaginip ako last August 8, 2008, bago nagising ngayong umaga. Tapos, may nakikita akong parang mga cubicles/toilets, may lamang mahirap i-distinguish, or to figure out what are those things, inside those cubicles/toilets.
